Safeglass® is the innovative, award-winning material that mimics glass but will not cut when it breaks. It was designed to replace real glass in ‘break the glass’ uses such as fire alarms, key boxes, hammer boxes and emergency equipment.

Safeglass® was developed because real glass hinders access to emergency equipment and has the potential to cause injury. In addition, glass that is broken by accident or malice leaves behind shards which could be dangerous if picked up or when being cleared away.

Safeglass® is a safe alternative because it is safe to break and handle.

Some examples of where Safeglass® is used:

• Break Glass Hammer Boxes
• Key Boxes
• Oxygen Shut Off Valves
• Door Locks
• Emergency Equipment
